I believe the November meeting has been moved to December 18.

One of the things I want to do at that Dec 18 meeting is put up a simple model of the factual context around the issues of groundwater in central county. Then I want to encourage members of the audience to suggest what are the right questions we should be asking, in order to 1) develop a solid understanding of the situation, and 2) move the stakeholder community toward some valued solutions to our groundwater overdraft, salt water intrusion, and need for an additional supply.
The major categories I will propose (to hang our questions on) are these: I believe we have many of the answers, but still ---- getting the questions up on the board is important. 1) How Much Water is There 2) What Environmental Factors Impact our Water 3) Who Gets to Use the Water When There Isn't Enough 4) Who are the Entities who could Control Mid-Co Water Use 5) What are the Possible Solutions to our Overdraft and Need for Further Supply 6) What Events are just Over the Horizon 7) What Are the Consequences from the Possible Solutions
